Wordy post

Everyone was still in camp mood today. Ha. Wait, including me:# Once you are back from camp, it is normal to sing&cheer the camp songs. But some people are different. During recess, some group of boys were singing the hungry cheer before they even gobbled up their food. Lol. The Sec1's had question marks all over their faces. Everyone is tired after camp, I am no exception. I couldn't wake up this morning and reached school pretty late:} Many people were absent from school today as well.

I shall proceed on posting about camp (13-15 April),

Day 1-
You could see that almost everyone carried bulky bags and sleeping bags. Had morning assembly, and were divided into our camp groups. Was rather downcast when I couldn't get into the same group as my friends:C Was relieved when Group 1 & Group 2 combined together. At least, there were a few friends whom I was familiar with. Thought that the camp would be monstrous but it turned out to be boisterous and merry!^^ I even made new friends, :B

Took the bus to Jalan Bahtera, the campsite was close to the Scouts Campsite. Left our bags at the huts then started on High Elements. I had phobia of heights, but was inspired by friends whom could make it to the top. Decided to give it a shot, but didn't had the chance to because it was gonna pour:( Had lunch later, the food was o-k-a-y. You can't expect too much from camp:/

Discussed on what to do for campfire's performance. Then 2 insects dropped on me from nowhere. At first, it was a really big one, I even stared at it for a few seconds then I screamed and jumped up and ran away. Later the fly just got up and flew away. I sat back when a guy called "Girl, girl! Your shorts!!" There was a beetle sitting comfortably on my shorts! Rahh, I can never forget that gruesome scene. INSECTS ARE EXTREMELY NASTY AND A DETEST!@#$%

Had dinner then lights out. I was astounded with myself that I could fall asleep so quickly because I'm a light sleeper. BUT was waken abruptly at about 2AM from laughter&chattering of some group of malay girls. In fact, most of the girls from Hut1 was waken up by the sudden commotion. Shouted back to the girls to lower down their volume, it took a long time for them to hush. Managed to sleep back. My friends&I woke up then slept back repeatedly. It seemed like we slept for a long time but it was still not time to wake up:

Day 2-
Woke up at 6.20AM, started for the ladies to wash our faces and brush our teeths. Eileen kept whining that she was still lethargic. Haas. Had Fried Carrot Cake+Banana Muffin for breakfast. The Fried Carrot Cake did not even taste like one. The first activity we had in the morning was Kayaking. The boat was heavy, although I am big size, I couldn't carry it...

Played games - all of us had to hold each other boats firmly together, firstly, the person at the back (me&others) had to stand up and do a tidal wave, the instructor insisted on us to jump higher. I was scared that the boat would capsize!(!!) When someone jumped, everyone's boat fidgeted as the person in front held the boats together. So that needed teamwork, if someone moved, everyone else's boat would move as well. Next, the person at the back would stand. Lastly, both people from the boat had to stand. So precisely, nobody was supporting the boat. I held Nelson's (not sure of the spelling) and Gary's hand. Gary couldn't balance thus falling into the sea, and at the same time pulling me down too -.-'

But I thought it was quite alright because I was almost drenched from Instructor Naz splashing water at me. Grrr. Natasha&me tried to turn our boat to the direction that everyone gathered together. But we kept going round and round. What's even stinky was, the boat kept travelling to the direction of Naz even though I tried really hard to kayak the boat to a different direction. Hence, being splashed over and over again. Washed up.

How dumb of me to forget about my watch, and bringing it to kayaking. Sea water went into my watch, it is definitely spoilt. Now, I have to buy a new one:(

Did Abseiling later, I skipped that one because I thought it was kinda stupid furthermore I was intimidated. But Instructor Joel forced me to go up, I went up but my legs started getting wobbly and got dizzy. In the end, I got back down. Frankly speaking, even before I got to the top, which was almost 3 level high, my heart was almost jumping out of my ribcage. The floor and staircase was so called transparent. Dreadfully awful.

We were one lucky group, we could do both Abseiling&Flying Fox. It was bizarre that I was not as scared stiff as Abseiling although both were of the same height. I thought Flying Fox would be a fun experience, :-) Doubtlessly, it was fun, C: Only the first 2 seconds was scary, like commiting suicide. It was as if you were going down, down, down then out of a sudden you slided straight. It was a wonderful experience. I was a bit hesitant* though when I started my first few steps on the plank. I finally overcomed my fear, so proud of myself:D

Had a 5 minutes break, AliFoo, Nash and me slacked at the canteen. ShengJie (not sure of the spelling) came along to disturb AliFoo about 'dimples'. Haha. Formerly, ShengJie pointed to the ground and shouted lizard. Then we were like 'Where? AHHHHH!' I've never seen such an enormous lizard in my life! It's almost 20cm long! ShengJie was laughing his head off -.-

He said when he was talking, he already saw the lizard taking small steps, in slow motion only then did he shouted about the lizard. LOL. Then that fella kept talking about lizards. Toopid loh.

Afterwards, we did High Elements - Rock Climbing. I did not have the strength to do it, so I just sat down and watched others. Washed up again and practised for Campfire perfomance. Dinner and CAMPFIRE!!

Campfire was a blast;} Amusing too, although it was a little itchy and uncomfortable sitting on the ground for a long time. There was a lizard on the back of an Indian guy's back and he was unaware of it at all! ShengJie came to the rescue, lol. He swept the lizard off the guy's back to the grass. I saw the lizard flying:# Too much talking of lizards that he faced another lizard. Lights out at 11PM.

Day 3-
Today was much better, slept throughout the night. Washed up then packed up. Had Nasi Lemak for breakfast. Our group had to wash the toilets before we left. How pathetic. I stared at the toilet in disbelief, found it utterly icky too! But got used to it later and had fun also. Laughs! Totally worn out after that.

Fell asleep in the bus on the way back to school.

Didn't feel hungry at all during camp, I didn't even finish half of my meals. Yet, I was totally famished today. Odd.
Finally finished my post! Not used to long posts, ha. Never written this long before aye. Keep tagging alright!
