Trip to Aussie's posts coming up soon!

(Haul for the week in Perth.)

G'day everyone! My daily schedule has been packed with work which explains the slow updates on my blog. Today is my off day (which is awesome because it's a Monday) so finally I have the chance to let my fingers run the keyboard!! I will be posting 2 separate posts on my trip to Perth, Australia because there's too much to squeeze in just a single post. I'll start updating the first post this coming Wednesday, that's official so please do stay tuned my fellow readers.☺
As for now, I will be briefly updating on what has been going on lately, after I arrived back in Singapore from my trip to Perth.

This is the store that I'm temporarily working for in the Hokkaido Fair! I think it's so much fun to do because you're not being a cashier full-time but also helping to do some promoting for the boss. While promoting, we can actually get to feed ourselves with the samples of the cakes, souffle and puddings. And because we are working there, we get to eat and eat and eat!!! Not just from our own stall that we are in charged for but also the other companies'.

Thankfully, card day is over because usually on Saturday, there are a lot of customers shopping at Takashimaya and with card day, the crowd is twice as large.

Just look at the impatient customers crowding around our stall. Gosh. Some are just greedy, snatching to eat as many samples as they can while some are buying the pastries in bulk.

Let's talk about the greedy customers. It's alright if you just try one of the products because you might not like the taste of it but it is not alright at all if you try every single product of every flavour and then strut away. Because that is just disgusting. Imagine if everyone else acts the same way as you, wouldn't the owner not make any profits? And please have some pride, you are clearly spoiling your own image.  Also spare some thought for the other customers who want to try the samples too, don't be so selfish! There are quite a lot of these type of customers and my colleagues kept on complaining about them. It gets annoying sometimes...

Oh and yesterday, my pride was greatly hurt because I got scolded by this nasty lady in front of so many people for nothing. This lady was with a man whom I assumed were couples. Both of them were clearly not in the line because the queue was going the opposite way from where they were standing yet the lady raised her voice at me when I served two other customers and was about to move on to the third one. She kept on insisting for me to take her orders but I told her to wait and then she got so impatient, she just shouted for me to serve her.

"But he came first." I told the lady while pointing to the third customer, a man. The man realised what was happening and took a step back, letting the lady go first when he had the right to go first instead of her. What a gentleman unlike that witch. Man, I still can remember that expression on her face when she told me, " We have the dignity not to jump queue." And she repeated the same line over and over for about 3 times. Oh blah blah blah. I could have shut her mouth there and then but I couldn't because I knew that it was pointless so I just collected the money while ignoring her words. She didn't even said 'Thank you' and she stomped off in fury. When I carried on to serve the man who was supposedly the third customer in line, he was so soft to me after what happened. After the crowd died down, the promoter who had been with me while serving the customers, told me that another customer pointed out that the nasty lady was in the wrong as she was the last customer. What a nuisance right? You are not even guilty of your actions and you can argue with me that you are not jumping queue when it is obvious that you really are. I got over it quickly because I know that retribution will deal with you in future, lady.

Enough with atrocious stories, here are some pictures of the food that I received from work! They were given by the boss and other lovely people. ☺
*Reminder: Don't drool over your keyboard.

There's quite a lot more of this Fuwari in my fridge...
Nah, we don't sell this at the Hokkaido Fair. This sumptuous salad was made by mimmie yesterday, for my lunch. The salad consists of yellow kiwi, apples, green pepper, broccoli, egg. seedless grapes and carrots. I can feel my mom's infatuation for me while I was having my salad.

All right, that's all for the day. Remember to visit this site again on Wednesday for my Aussie post! Ta ta! ☺
