If I were to pick on what to wear for the day and I have a pair of shorts on one hand and a pair of long pants in the other, I will definitely throw on those pair of shorts.

Why shorts?:-

a) Shorts keep me cool, the most suitable choice of bottom in Singapore's hot and humid weather.

b) Comfort. More skin is exposed and I feel like I can BREATHE in them.

c) Less restriction. They provide me with a more flexible movement because the fabrics don't go beyond your knees. So whenever I have to bend my legs, I can move more freely. 

d) You can show those legs. It's just a better way than pants.

e) Easy to wear. Think of a moment when you are rushing for school/work, you have to choose between shorts and pants. Shorts would save you so much time! You can just put them on within 20 seconds? Simply slip them on and you're good to go. There's no need for arranging or tugging. Pants are a hassle to wear.

f) Shorts are best for sports and recreational activities. Going for a run or a badminton match or even to the beach, shorts are preferable.

There are so many different types of shorts. We have high-waisted, denim, destroyed, lace, studded, animal prints, sailor style, cut-offs and many more. With uncountable varieties to choose from, I am always spoilt for choices. For someone who loves shopping, I can never stop myself from wanting to get more shorts of different designs!

If you were wondering, YES, I have a pretty huge collection of shorts (which I think it isn't enough for me still ha ha ha). In this pile below, I only wear the usual 6 pair of shorts among all of them. These 6 are the ones I find most easy to match with, the nicest/most presentable and I just like 'em.
