"No Makeup" Makeup

This post is perfect for those of you who:
- are rushing to school/work
- want to go for the natural look (for the "no-makeup" makeup look HAHA)
- want to keep it simple (or it's just one of those lazy days - sleep vs responsibility BATTLE)

If you've met one of the above points, then go ahead and read on! :-)
I may not be the best person to give makeup tips on because honestly, I do not wear makeup (only on special occasions) and also because I do not know how to wear makeup. But... I do wear some light and quick makeup sometimes and it really does do the trick in looking more presentable or feeling more confident. With that said, I hope this post does you well too! ;)

Tip #1
Spray moisturiser for better hydration of the face way before you start applying any makeup products. This will only take 2 seconds but it is an important step to hydrate your face and allow the makeup to last for the day!

Tip #2
Apply foundation on the areas that require the most coverage i.e. nose, cheeks, chin, forehead. Using a blender or simply a brush, gently spread the foundation over your face to make sure there is consistency. You can brush the foundation all over in a circular pattern to save time! Do another layer of foundation if required and make sure to spread some of it below your chin or half of your neck to ensure an even skin tone.

Put on concealer to cover up dark ring circles, pimples and any other blemishes. Dab the concealer with your finger and you can make use of the same brush used earlier for the foundation to spread the concealer.

Dab loose powder to walk in the foundation and concealer!

P.S. If you really only have 5 minutes or less to do your makeup then BB cream will be your best friend! It moisturises your face but also gives you the coverage your need. Remember to apply the BB cream on your eyelids as well because you wouldn't have time for eyeshadow.

Tip #3
Apply bronzer a little on the apple of your cheeks and jawline to bring back the colours and life to your face. Add a pinkish coloured blusher to add a natural flush to your cheeks!

Alternatively, you can use a cheek stain which will also help you to achieve similar results!

Tip #4
Fill in your eyebrows using an eyebrow pencil that matches one shade lighter than your hair colour and then using the spoolie, brush your eyebrows to even it out. Well defined eyebrows can really help to frame your face and for me, this is an essential makeup tip!

Tip #5
Apply some quick mascara to your upper and bottom lashes. Lengthening your lashes will will really make your eyes pop!

Tip #6
Apply some lipgloss and then lipstick after. If you are going for a fuller makeup look then you can try applying a nude colour lipstick first before applying a brighter lipstick. My favourite go-to lipstick colour is red.

P.S. Again, if you are really running out of time, just put on a lip gloss that will help make your lips shine and give some colours to your face. It also works very well for those of you who often have chapped lips as it kinda helps with the dryness as compared to a lipstick.

And that is it! Your finishing touches to a quick everyday makeup fix!
Stay tuned for more updates :-)
