I love Denmark

Are you a watch person?

I am!

Have you experienced being so used to lifting your arm up to check the time, only to notice that your watch is not on your wrist? In that embarrassing moment, lasting 2 seconds, you silently hope that nobody realised what you did. This happens to me all the time especially when I have to rush out of the house and forget to put on my watch. To avoid this problem, I always make sure that I remember to wear my watch.

Also, watches can act as a really handy accessory to spice up your outfit! No time to think of accessories that will help match your outfit for the day, simply put on a pretty watch and off you go!

For me, it is also a very useful tool because time is precious and checking the time constantly helps me to keep track of time spent on completing a certain errand or task. As someone who is really organised, time management is also essential for me to make sure I am on task as planned and also take note of important dates/events happening on that day or beforehand.

I was scrolling through the internet a few days back and noticed some Danish Design watches. With Danish Design watches going as far back as 1988, there are so many types and variations of watches you can possibly think of. Scandinavia simply exudes these characteristics in all of their designs, from accessories, furniture and even their architecture. The pure Scandinavian style is one that is famous for its elegance, simplicity, beauty and pure characteristics. Having gone to Norway, Denmark, last January, its Scandinavian architecture is more than an art piece and there is everything to love about!

Here are some pictures taken during my visit to Norway :-)

Now that you've seen some of the Scandinavian architectures, what's there not to love about Denmark, so mesmerising!

I was wondering if I could physically wear such Danish beauty and thought of Danish Design watches! Scrolled through the internet and found some pretty designs. Now I'd love to share with you some of these designs and my thoughts about it :-)

There are various types of watches for the Danish Design:

1) Mesh Bracelets
A very sleek feeling and look to it! The best part about this design is that the strap is made of stainless steel so you wouldn't be afraid to wash your hands and prevent yourself from the tendency of accidentally spraying water near your wrist area.

2) Watches 24-Hour Hand
Very modern looking with a pretty brown leather strap. Great for those who love watch hands that will show the seconds and milliseconds ticking as well which also makes the entire look of the watch very intricate!

3) Women's Watches
I love the colour of this strap as it gives off a very elegant and ladylike vibe, perfect for girls out there! It is also very simple looking and you know how they always say "simplicity at its best" and "back to the basics", this is just the look to go if you are looking out for these requirements.

4) Men's Watches

I would perhaps... fall in love with a guy who is wearing such a charismatic looking watch like this?! Even though the colours are the same for both the inner frame of the watch and the strap, it still complements each other really well. Very manly and if I were a guy, this would totally be my go-to watch.

How would you like your watch?
I hope this post gave you some inspiration if you were going to purchase one for yourself or as a gift. You can never go wrong wearing a watch around your wrist. Till next time! ;)
